Now open, a hospital inspired by our community.
Tulare Regional Medical Center is back, by popular demand. You now have expert care right here in our community. It’s the care you need, right where you need it. Welcome to the new Tulare Regional Medical Center, managed by Adventist Health.
Adventist Health began managing Tulare Regional Medical Center in October 2018. The 112-bed acute-care facility is located just off Highway 99 between Bakersfield and Fresno. It offers emergency services with 13 emergency beds, including six fast-track, to efficiently provide care to those with greatest need. Other services include emergency surgery, ICU, laboratory, pharmacy, medical imaging, respiratory therapy, anesthesia and medical/surgical nursing.
The Tulare medical center is expected to join the Adventist Health family in the first quarter of 2019 after the California Department of Public Health approves a change of ownership. Adventist Health will then lease the facility from the Tulare Local Healthcare District under an agreement approved by the district board and voters in 2018.
Additional services, including obstetrics, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care and elective surgery, are expected to become available in 2019.
